You’ve decided to start the cash envelope budget. You’ve done all your research, and you’re ready to go. There’s just one problem: Now that you’re hunting for cash envelopes, where do you look?

Here are all the places I look when I need new envelopes and some tips to keep in mind.

1. Reuse old envelopes.
2. Old coupons or business cards.
3. Online retailers like Amazon, Etsy, and eBay.
4. Target dollar bins (the ones near the front of the store).
5. Office supply stores like Staples and Office Depot/OfficeMax.
6. Craft stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby (especially during their half-off sales).
7. Discount stores like Dollar General and Dollar Tree (check out the craft section).
